The eleven 2005 Venture Scholars award recipients are currently studying at Portland Community College, Mt. Hood Community College, Clackamas Community College, the College of Emergency Services, the College of the Redwoods, and the Art Institute of Seattle. Their fields are nursing, education, marketing, real estate, CNC (manufacturing) programming, multimedia, ophthalmic medical technology, and emergency technology.

Susan studied Health Occupations in high school and decided she wanted to become a nurse. She is now a Venture Scholar enrolled at the College of the Redwoods.

Jose has a strong interest in photography, videography, and computers. He is a Venture Scholar working toward a certificate in Multimedia at Portland Community College.

Clark enjoys working with people and is interested in business. He is a Venture Scholar pursuing an associate's degree in fashion marketing at the Art Institute of Seattle.
